eeee

Uzumaki tells of a girl, Kirie, who lives in a tiny town and goes to school and has a normal life. One day she discovers her boyfriend's father's unhealthy obsession with spirals, and what seems harmless at first turns out to turn the entire village upside down.

An old musician, mr Mathieu, arrives to a boarding school for ill-mannered young boys, called Fond de l'Etang, in France. The school's motto is "action - reaction" (pretty much "if you do something bad, be afraid"), which clearly isn't working, since all rascals are behaving like tiny (and big) monsters anyway. Mathieu finds the school's motto to be wrong and takes a whole new approach to the teaching methods, changing all the boys' lives forever, through singing. (Despite that, this is not a musical where everybody suddenly breaks into song at random times!)

A single mother with her eldest son, Akira (12 years old), and her 3 younger children, all 3 of them smuggled into the apartment in big cute trunks, move into their new small home in Tokyo. The kids don't go to school, but stay at home all day while their mother is away until late every day, working. One day their mother goes away and leaves the kids with a bigger sum of money and travels herself to Osaka, to live with her new boyfriend, her kids in the apartment hopelessly waiting for her to come home. How will the children survive?
